The Cocheco Falls Millworks is under new ownership as of January 27, 2012. Local mill developer Eric Chinburg and partners have purchased this historic complex of buildings located in the center of downtown Dover, NH. The property will be transformed into a thriving mixed-use community with the addition of 120 apartments to the existing mix of businesses and restaurants. Construction of the apartments will begin in the spring of 2012 and will be ready for occupancy in early 2013.

The Mill is managed by Great Mills Management, a Chinburg company. Cocheco Mills will join the family of Chinburg Mill properties that include; Millport in Portsmouth, Canal Street in Somersworth, Washington Street Mills in Dover and Newmarket Mills in Newmarket.
